Ricky Gervais appeared on The Tonight Show and tried to break the record for most impressions in 30 seconds.

While discussing Gervais' new film, Special Correspondents, host Jimmy Fallon said many of Gervais' co-stars spoke with a different accent.  All except Gervais and the English comedian responded that he's actually the best at impressions. This led to Fallon listing off celebrities and Gervais giving all of his impressions in a high-pitched British accent. Doing only ten "impressions," including Robert de Niro, Christopher Walken and Kim Kardashian, it's safe to say Gervais did not break the record.

After managing the band Suede and appearing on The 11 O'Clock Show, Gervais co-created U.K. series' The Office and Extras.  He also served as co-writer and co-director.  As an actor, he appeared in films like the Night at the Museum trilogy and Muppets Most Wanted. He recently wrote, directed and starred in the Netflix movie Special Correspondents, which premiered on the site in April.
