Steph Curry was fined $25,000 by the NBA Friday for losing his cool and throwing his mouthpiece at a fan after he was fouled out of Game 6 in Cleveland.

Curry got angry after the final foul call and threw his mouthpiece into the crowd. The piece of plastic ended up hitting the son of one of the Cavaliers’ minority owners. After Curry got his composure he turned to apologize for the outburst and shook hands before being lead off the court.

However, the league decided to impose the fine on him as well as his coach Steve Kerr for the comments he made following the game.

"He had every right to be upset. He's the MVP of the league. He gets six fouls called on him, three of them were absolutely ridiculous," Kerr said. "He steals the ball from Kyrie [Irving] clean at one point. LeBron [James] flops on the last one. [Referee] Jason Phillips falls for that -- for a flop. As the MVP of the league, we're talking about these touch fouls in the NBA Finals.

"Let me be clear: We did not lose because of the officiating. They totally outplayed us, and Cleveland deserved to win. But those three of the six fouls were incredibly inappropriate calls for anybody, much less the MVP of the league."

Curry’s wife, Ayesha, also wasn’t happy about the calls and tweeted that the game was “rigged.”

She later deleted that and wrote, “tweeted in the heat of the moment because the call was uncalled for.”

Ayesha’s “rigged” comment though is something a lot of fans took to social media about after Draymond Green was suspended for Game 5 and questioned if the league took him out to prolong the series.

Both teams will head back to Oakland for Game 7 on Sunday night.
