Vin Diesel has continued to show his love and remembrance for friend and co-star Paul Walker, who died in November 2013.
In the middle of filming the eigth installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, Diesel posted a touching photo of himself with youngest daughter Pauline, who he named in honor of Paul.
While holding her in the air, a digital image of Paul looking toward them was inserted with the caption, “Always.” A beautiful tribute for a true friend!
Diesel has been open about his feelings after losing his friend, including how filming The Last Witch Hunter allowed him to really cope with his feelings on the loss.
He also once said he felt Walker would be happy that the film franchise would still be ongoing. Diesel said Walker “had a lot of pride in this franchise and he’d be smiling down at the idea of us actually doing what we talked about, which is going to the 10th chapter.”
Fast 8, the first film since Walker’s tragic death, is due to be released in April 2017 and a poster shared by Diesel appeared to place the film in New York. The ninth film is due out in 2019 and the 10th movie will be released in 2021.
