Hall of Fame wrestler Jerry Lawler has been suspended by WWE after he and his fiancée were arrested on Friday for domestic assault charges.

Information from the police report was cited on WWE’s website with the following statement:

“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Jerry Lawler has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest.”

WREG obtained a report which said that Lawler, 66, and his fiancée Lauryn McBride, 27, were involved in a physical altercation in which McBride claims the wrestler hit and pushed her. Lawler, however, alleges that McBride scratched, kicked and threw a candle at him. The two also blame one another for the presence of a handgun during the dispute.

Lawler has been in the wrestling business for decades and is known to fans as “The King.”

He and McBride are due back in court on June 20.
