Miss Cleo, who rose to fame in the ‘90s as a television psychic, has died at 53.

TMZ reported she was diagnosed with colon cancer, which eventually spread to both her lungs and liver.

A statement from her representative to TMZ stated she died July 26 at a hospice center surrounded by loved ones.

Miss Cleo, whose real name was Youree Harris, was known for her psychic commercials which ended with her catchphrase, “Call me now!”

TheWrap reported her work as a psychic did come with controversy. The company Access Resource Services, which was involved with the Psychic Readers Network, faced lawsuits in 2001. In addition, the Federal Trade Commission cited them for false advertising. That case reached a settlement.

While her character was Jamaican, she actually was born in Los Angeles.

When she finished her work as a television psychic, she held different jobs, including voice work for a character in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
