Thursday night was live eviction night and the queen of Big Brother, Julie Chen, welcomed us to the show where we know one of The Newbies are going home. I still feel Jozea is going to be the one leaving.

Day 12 in the house post POV Meeting. Jozea still has no idea that half of the house is coming after him. He is all over the place about who the RoadKill winner is. He has no idea Frank was behind all of this. Jozea goes on some damage control with Nicole in the event that the votes on eviction night come down to her breaking the tie. No chance Nicole would ever save Jozea.

We then see all of the HG debate about who should be sent home. The Newbies think Paulie will leave. The girls of the 8Pack alliance think that Bridgette is sketchy and can’t be trusted. They also form another alliance between Da’Vonne, Zakiyah, Michelle, Tiffany and Nicole. They call themselves The Fatal Five. They will use this alliance once they start losing the male members of the 8Pack. The Spy Girls (Natalie, Bronte and Bridgette) are leaning towards sending out Paulie. This is what makes Big Brother great, the constant scheming, plotting and debating.

I thought we were going to get our first fight of the season already. Country Asian James loves to pull pranks. He started out by putting mayonnaise in Natalie’s lotion. James and Natalie proceeded to have some fun dropping chips on the HG which rubbed Victor the wrong way. Paul was also annoyed at James for kicking him out of the room with the girls. It basically comes down to Paul/Victor not liking James but nothing came from it. That was just a tease and hopefully the drama picks up in the house.

It is time for the live vote and eviction. My money is still on Jozea leaving the house. Each HG goes into the diary room and casts their vote live. The votes start out even between Paulie and Jozea. 2-2 and 4-4. Bridgette might as well not even be nominated. The final three votes cast by James, Tiffany, and Corey seal Jozea’s fate. Julie informs the house that JOZEA was evicted by a 7-4 vote. Jozea silently hugs everyone and then leaves the house. The HG watch his picture quickly fade to black and white. One member down for The Newbies. Victor and Paul look upset.

Julie chats with the newly evicted Jozea and he claims to be an honest person and that he openly targeted Nicole because he watched her season and thought she was a sneaky player. He thinks that his bold strategy led to his demise in the house. Julie then hits us with another twist. The first five evicted HG will compete in whats called the BattleBack. Next week, Glenn and Jozea will face off and the winner will take on the next evicted HG and after the first five evictions, the winner of BattleBack will get a chance to go back into the house. I’m liking all these twists so early in the game.

It is time to start the next HOH competition. “Berry Balanced” is the name of the competition. Each team races across a balance beam one at a time and try to retrieve berries to place in their team's columns. There are easy and hard options and if a person falls off the beam they are out. The first team to get 40 berries will then decide which team member will be HOH for the week.

This is a classic HOH endurance competition that we will have to wait until Sunday to see who wins it. Will The Newbies get the power or will 8Pack try to keep picking off the rookies one by one?
