James Franco and Bryan Cranston are the unexpected dream comedy duo in their film coming out this Christmas, Why Him?
The duo is so great it has people thinking:
Franco plays an "internet zillionaire" dating the very protective Cranston's daughter. Franco is the ultimate millennial nightmare that no father would ever want their daughter to be with.
Upon first meeting his possible future in-laws he greets them outside his colossal mansion shirtless, dawning several tattoos and one that even includes their Christmas card portrait. If that wasn't enough he talks about their sex life and is overly affectionate in a touchy feely way.
"No father would want their daughter with this guy," Cranston says to which a surprised Franco replies, "I feel like I'm so normal," which is so real-life Franco.
Franco slowly charms his way into the rest of the family (again so Franco) but just can't seem to get to Cranston. The trailer is filled a pants-less Franco, a shirtless Franco, lots of "dad" calling and throwing chickens on a quest to get Cranston's permission to marry his daughter.
