Calvin Klein Home launched their new bedding on July 7 with some help from two YouTube stars.
Fans of Calvin Klein's underwear brand across the globe have embraced their love of the ultra-comfortable fabric hugging their bodies through the #mycalvins social media campaign. As photos continued to heat up Instagram's top posts page Calvin Klein Home added to the hype with their exclusive Modern Cotton Bedding launch at Bloomingdale's. They did this with the help of youtube celebs Arden Rose and Will Darbyshire.
The YouTube dynamic duo engaged fans from an ingeniously beautiful window display from the Calvin Klein Home Modern Cotton Bedding line showing off not only the brands signature underwear and clothing, but laying on a bed fully decked out in the collection. Fans crowed in front of the new window displays speaking with the duo over an Iphone casually passed around on speaker. Rose showcased the beddings unexpected take on the brand's iconic logo waistband which can be found artfully adorned throughout the sheets and assorted pieces.
Darbyshire and Rose informed fans that they were only staying in New York for 24 hours and asked for the best sights and experiences they could enjoy during their stay. As they lounged comfortably on the bedding sipping coffee, fans suggested art galleries, High Line Park, Levain Bakery and countless others. As the couple announced that everyone would get to join them inside Bloomingdales for an up close and personal Q&A one female attendee asked the couple when they would finally take the plunge and tie the knot. They both laughed and blushed clearly surprised, but Rose stated that the couple has a more modern approach to marriage. They said they figure they could go on dating for a few more years until friends and family finally encourage them to just do it already.
As guests entered inside Bloomingdales and made their way to the seventh floor they were treated to the fully stocked Calvin Klein Home Modern Bedding area with a photo setup provided by The BOSCO. Calvin Klein encouraged guests to become models for the day and try out the new bedding line for themselves. Guests were given photo booth style printouts to take home and digital copies to share with friends on social media using the #mycalvins.
The team behind Calvin Klein Modern Bedding revealed that the line retails from $35.00 to $240.00 and is anchored by the Body duvet and sheeting assortment, a soft solid cotton and modal jersey, reminiscent of a well worn t-shirt, that is available in nine fashion-inspried heathered shades. Printed duvets and pillowcases include Expose, a digital pixel print layered over an abstract tonal camouflage design; Primal, an all-over animal motif in cool neutral tones; and Rhythm, which features variegated tripes in tonal color for a modern look. Each pillowcase and throw is branded with a modern, cropped take on the Calvin Klein logo. The distinctive Calvin Klein Underwear waistband logo accents each fitted sheet.
