During their Comic-Con presentation, Warner Bros. released a trailer for Wonder Woman and the first footage from Justice League.
The Wonder Woman trailer begins with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) meeting fighter pilot and future love interest Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) washed up on a beach. That's followed by a look at Wonder Woman's homeland of Themyscira where her mother, Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen), calls Prince her "greatest love" and to "be careful." We then see Prince walking towards a general at a party with a sword tucked away in the back of her dress. Lots of action shots of Prince shield bashing and sword slashing follow, including a brief appearance from the Lasso of Truth.
The Justice League sneak peek begins with Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) asking a group of people where to find the guy who brings them fish in the winter when a long-haired man (Jason Momoa) turns around to face who's asking. Shots of a fully-suited Wonder Woman and suit-less looks at Aquaman, Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) follow. Then, a scene plays out with Wayne meeting The Flash for the first time before snippets of the four heroes in costume pop up. The footage ends with Cyborg turning to Batman saying he didn't believe The Bat existed to which Batman replies, "I'm real when it's useful." The logo flashes and it's briefly back to the scene in the beginning of the footage featuring Wayne making a quip to Aquaman about his power of talking to fish.
Not only that, but today DC Comics birthed a final trailer for Suicide Squad made up of mostly new footage to the tune of the twenty one pilots song "Heathens" from the soundtrack.
And, finally, DC ends its day with a trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie that explains the origin of a Michael Cera-voiced Robin.
Suicide Squad comes out on August 5, The LEGO Batman Movie on February 10, Wonder Woman on June 2, and Justice League on November 17, 2017.
Enjoy the pleasure of four DC trailers in one day. San Diego Comic-Con only happens once a year.
