James Corden scored a huge guest to join him in Carpool Karaoke during his late night show on Wednesday, July 20.
Michelle Obama got a ride from the Late Late Show host but she wasn’t the only passenger, the two were also joined by hip-hop artist Missy Elliott and that’s when the FLOTUS broke out her own rap skills.
As Mrs. Obama and Corden toured the White House grounds, they sang everything from Stevie Wonder to Beyoncé’s hit “Single Ladies” and the First Lady didn’t miss a beat. Then, when they picked up Elliott, the trio rapped to “Get Ur Freak On.”
They also sang the girl power anthem “This Is For My Girls,” which is inspired by Michelle Obama’s Let Girls Learn initiative and features pop superstars Kelly Clarkson, Zendaya and Janelle Monae.
So now we know that the President’s wife can sing, rap and even dance as she showed off a few moves while riding in the car.
