The nominations for the 68th annual Emmy Awards were announced on Thursday and HBO and FX shows have emerged as this year's favorites.
The popular HBO fantasy drama Game Of Thrones and the FX hit miniseries The People vs. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story led with more than 20 nominations each.
TV Line noted that GOT lead all the other-nominated shows with 23 nods and The People vs. O.J. Simpson was right behind with a total of 22 nominations. The FX series Fargo and HBO’s Veep also racked up a good number of nods with 18 and 17 respectively.
