Crystal Hefner, the wife of Playboy mogul, Hugh Hefner has revealed that she had her breast implants taken out last month because she believes that they were “slowly poisoning” her.
Crystal took to social media on Tuesday, July 19, with her admission and posted a very lengthy message about the dangers of plastic surgery.
The 30-year-old began the post by saying that her “Breast Implants Slowly Poisoned Me.”
Hefner went on to say that what started as aches, bladder pain, brain fog and fatigue a few years ago had now developed into a debilitating illness.
"The fatigue was so severe that I could barely leave the house or drive,” she wrote alongside a photo of her in a hospital bed. “I was afraid to get up there in front of a crowd and go blank with brain fog."
The blonde beauty announced earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with Lyme Disease and now believes that her implants may have been the problem.
"I began to receive comments saying that my symptoms resembled 'Breast Implant Illness,'" she explained. "I found a Breast Implant Illness website and Facebook group with almost 3,000 members. My symptoms matched theirs."
She also said that she is now allergic to certain foods and has problems with her thyroid.
She is on the road to recovery now and on Wednesday posted another photo of herself minus her implants with the caption, “The new me. Happier and healthier. Using 2016 to reclaim my health and embrace and love myself for the real me.”
