J.K. Rowling has completed the script for the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them before that film is even released.

"We've done the first one," Fantastic Beasts director David Yates said to Reuters adding, "she's written the second one, she's got ideas for the third one."

A sequel to Fantastic Beasts is slated for November 2018. The third film will follow on Nov. 20, 2020.

The last Harry Potter film was released almost five years ago to the date. Deathly Hallows - Part 2 was released on July 15, 2011 and grossed over $1.3 billion worldwide. The film holds the record for the largest July opening weekend at $169.1 million.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be released on Nov. 18, 2016. The film is directed by David Yates (the last four Harry Potter films, The Legend of Tarzan) and written by Rowling in her screenwriting debut. The film stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterson, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Ezra Miller, Carmen Ejogo, Jon Voight and Ron Perlman.
