Looks like the Duchess of Cambridge is going to be a bridesmaid as her little sis, Pippa, just got engaged!
Pippa Middleton has been dating James Matthews, who is hedge fund manager, for a less than a year and he popped the question on Sunday to which she happily accepted.
Kate’s sister and her now-fiancé released a statement to the Press Association confirming their engagement and when they expect to tie the knot.
“Miss Pippa Middleton and Mr. James Matthews are delighted to announce they became engaged on Sunday 17th July and plan to marry next year,” the statement read.
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said that they are "absolutely delighted with the news" as are Pippa’s parents.
Pippa made headlines after Kate’s wedding to Prince William in 2011 for her figure-hugging Alexander McQueen dress. Her look was praised by the public and replicas of the dress were in high demand.
