Kristen Bell has responded to a tweet by Donald Trump and she is telling the presumptive Republican presidential nominee to “zip it” and get his head out of his behind.
Trump has recently taken a bit of heat for a tweet which showed a star that some believed was the Star of David and viewed as anti-Semitic. The businessman and his people defended the star and said it actually symbolized a star worn by a police sheriff and was not the Star of David.
On July 6, Trump shared a photo and referenced another six-pointed star on the cover of Disney’s Frozen book and asked where the outrage was for that star? He then blamed the interpretation of the star in his tweet on the “dishonest media.”
Bell, who lent her voice to the widely-popular animated film as Princess Anna, was not taking Trump’s tweet lying down and fired back at the politician.
“Zip it Don & get ur head outta ur ass. We've more important things 2 think abt today,” she wrote. Bell used the hashtags #AltonSterling #PhilandoCastile in the tweet for the two black men who were fatally shot by white police officers within 24 hours of one another.
One Twitter user then came at the actress and asked he if she thought “all of Twitter has to shut up and talk about shootings?” to which she replied back, “Nope, just politicians who claim, and have chosen a career, to care about the people’s welfare.”
So far Trump has not responded to her tweet.
