The text of a suicide note left behind by Jim Carrey’s late girlfriend, who committed suicide last year, has been released.

According to People, the letter penned by Cathriona White was revealed in an autopsy and toxicology report and was addressed to Carrey.

“I’ve spent 3 days now in disbelief that you’re not here. I can go on brokenhearted and try to put the pieces back. I could, I just don’t have the will this time,” she wrote. “I’m sorry you felt I wasn’t there for you. I tried to give you my best part.”

White also referenced her own funeral in the heartbreaking note and left the plans for it up to the actor.

“I don’t really know about burial or that sort of thing. You are my family so whatever you choose will be fine,” adding, “please forgive me. I’m just not for this world.”

As we reported, White died of an overdose last September. Carrey served as a pallbearer at her funeral and released a statement after receiving the news of her death.

“Deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona,” he said. “She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled.”
