During last night's episode of Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise, ABC announced Nick Viall will be the next bachelor for the 21st season of The Bachelor.
Viall is known for being a runner-up not once, but twice. Viall first aired on season 10 of The Bachelorette during Andi Dorfman's season in 2014. After being runner-up to Josh Murray, Viall gave it another shot. Viall looked to find love with Kaitlyn Bristowe on the season 11 of The Bachelorette in 2015.
"I'm definitely ready for it," Viall said on the episode. "I'm very excited. Hopefully this time around things will end up more positive."
Ben, former Bachelor and Lauren, his fiancee, skyped in to wish him luck.
Viall said he likes women who are confident, attractive and aren't afraid to put everything into the relationship as much as he does.
While Bachelor in Paradise is currently airing, fans of the show learned more about Viall as he tried (again) to find love. The announcement came a week before the show's season finale while spoiling that Viall clearly does not get engaged to Jen.
As soon as news broke about the next man looking for love, Twitter erupted with mixed opinions from Bachelor Nation. After JoJo's season of The Bachelorette, many expected Luke Pell to be the next bachelor.
Fans of The Bachelor and of Viall can watch his journey to find love a fourth time on season 21 of The Bachelor in January 2017.
