Gymnast Aly Raisman got asked out on a date by an NFL player after she got home from the Rio Olympics.
According to Sporting News, Oakland Raiders tight end Colton Underwood sent a video to Raisman congratulating her on her success and asked her out on a date. The date would be a double date, Raisman with Underwood and Raiders long snapper Andrew East and 2008 gold medalist Shawn Johnson, who are married. Raisman is friends with Johnson who told her about Underwood.
"If you're ever in San Jose and want to go on a double date with me and Andrew and Shawn, let me know," Underwood say in the video.
Raisman has accepted Underwood’s invitation for a date.
“They’ve actually told me about him before. He’s very cute,” Raisman said. "Yeah, I would go on a date with him."
On Sunday after she saw the video, Raisman thanked Underwood on Twitter and wrote that she’s looking forward to meeting him. So we'll just have to wait and see where this goes.
Raisman won one gold and two silver medals at the Rio Olympics.
