Julie Chen welcomes us to another live eviction where a former member of The Executives alliance will be leaving the house. #ButFirst we go back to day 62 in the house post Veto Meeting where Victor is ecstatic and Paulie won’t campaign against his bestie Corey. Majority of the house feels Paulie is unstable and he needs to go.
Paulie’s downward spiral continues as he talks with James and he sees butterflies and he claims they are spirits of people. James takes a break from the game to console “the big teddy bear” Paulie. Later, Paulie is refusing to go make apple pie (his veto punishment) and wants to run with Victor. He is losing it and ignoring the rules. Corey pulls him aside and gives a pep talk about being the best person you can be and to be strong. A solid move by Corey to try and get Paulie focused on the game and to be a good friend to him.
Paulie seems to be focused on the game again and now goes on damage control. He first apologizes to Natalie about what he said and how he acted. Natalie thinks it was a strategic move, not genuine. She is probably right. He goes to his old buddy Paul and plays the card that nobody wants him here and is trying to make people feel bad. Paul tells him he would throw him a sympathy vote. Nobody wants to be evicted unanimously. His final potential vote is James. He proposes for James to keep him so he would be a bigger target and could work with him and Natalie. James says he will follow whatever decision Natalie makes.
We get a blast from the past when we visit with BB12 and BB13’s Rachel and Brendon also known as #Brenchel. They are new parents to the first Big Brother baby named Adora. Interesting name. They are one of the most popular showmances of all time. Rachel was the last girl to win Big Brother. Rachel thinks James/Nat are adorable and Brendon thinks Paul has the best chance to win.
We also briefly visit the Jury House where Mama Da is regretting being vocal (again) and hopes Zakiyah isn’t the next person to join her. The tears start flowing for Da when she sees Zakiyah walk in. They watch the footage of what happened leading to Zak’s eviction and I admit, Mama Da’s reactions are priceless. They are soon joined by Bridgette. She wishes she was still in the house but was happy to blow up Paulie’s game. The girls all seem to be on Team Meech and hope Paulie joins them next week at the Jury House.
It is time for the live vote and eviction and I think this will be no surprise. Paulie gives an excellent speech, giving love to all the HG and even laying a kiss on Meech. As expected PAULIE is the next HG evicted by a 5-0 vote. (No sympathy vote, I felt like he knew this would happen.) Paulie hugs them all and goes to chat with Julie. We find out Paulie doesn’t have the round trip ticket and he will be heading to the Jury House. He says he put too much faith in The Executives and using sympathy to keep him in the house didn’t work.
Julie tells us the round trip tickets have expired and we find out that Paul was holding it the whole time. She also tells us that we only have two more America’s Care Packages and the one coming this Sunday is huge. It gives the HG we select the power to be co-HOH for the week. Another game changer. We end tonight’s episode with Julie giving us ANOTHER twist that involves the first five jury members having a chance to get back in the house.
We end the episode with Paul performing his security check throughout the house and we get a special Friday episode tomorrow night at 8 p.m. on CBS!
