It is day 44 in the house and the overall mood is happy that Frank went home. Who will grab the power? The HG keep practicing with the yellow balls and Bridgette knows it is pretty much her against the house right now. Paulie throws the HOH competition and this is one of many different strategies. Luck and confidence are the top components in this particular competition and Paul hits a score of 21. You must hit a perfect shot to beat him. The final two end up being Michelle and Da’Vonne. I’m hoping HOH stays with Paul this week. My wish is granted as the bearded master of friendship is HOH this week.
Paul’s target for the week is Bridgette. It seems Paulie thinks it is better to get out Da’Vonne. (We find out Paulie told Bridgette that he promised Frank he would look out for her). He plants that idea in Paul’s head while Paul is trying to get someone to volunteer as a pawn next to Bridgette. It is clear that nobody wants to go up next to her. He wants a strong player that could win the veto. Some HG call Mama Da “Frank in girl form.” I agree with that statement. I’m okay with the plan to backdoor Da, if that can happen.
We get to visit the friendship HOH room and Paul reads the letter from his parents. It is nice when they pause the game and enjoy some messages from loved ones. We jump right back to game talk when Paul continues to push someone to volunteer to be a pawn next to Bridgette. Each HG makes their pitch to not go up then out of all people… Nicole volunteers herself. I’m shocked by this move. She is decent at competitions but as they say in Big Brother, “pawns tend to go home.”
We get pointless time watching Corey/Nicole talk about adopting pets? Bridgette then goes up to the HOH room to try and deflect the target from herself. She mentions Da and Nicole as bigger targets (which is true). Paulie still wants Da out this week and Paul tells them he has a plan and urges Bridgette to trust him.
Paul calls the house into the living room to talk about the first BB Care Package. The winner is chosen by America and the winning HG has to open it in front of the entire house. #BBCarePackage goes down in the backyard and we find out that Natalie wins the first one. She receives the Never-Not pass where she won’t be a Have-Not the rest of the season. She is happy and so is James. #BBTwinsies Paul and Paulie literally look like twins. It seems that Zakiyah is jealous Paulie is showing more attention to Paul instead of her.
Nicole is doubting her original plan to volunteer as a pawn. She is worthless. She needs to be playing a much better game. She goes upstairs and tells Paul she is having second thoughts. He keeps searching for a volunteer when his buddy Paulie says screw it he will go up next to Bridgette. Thank you Paulie for having a backbone.
It is time for the Nomination Ceremony which should be predictable. BRIDGETTE and PAULIE are nominated, as expected. Paul’s speech is bold, tells Bridgette she is the target and Paulie is the pawn. Paulie/Paul have different plans for this week and it really all comes down to this weeks’ veto. I would be okay with Da or Nicole going up if the veto is used.
Who will find the Power of Veto? Will they save Bridgette or Paulie from eviction?
Tune in Wednesday night at 8 p.m.!
