Jared Leto is best known for some intense roles, like Rayon in Dallas Buyer's Club, Angel Face in Fight Club or his most recent role as The Joker in Suicide Squad. However, the actor is ready to lighten things up just a little bit.

The 44-year-old puts in some serious work preparing for his roles, by actually becoming them. Margot Robbie who played Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad recalled Leto sending her a rat on the set, as well as Viola Davis stating he sent the whole cast a dead hog.

Moreover, co-star Will Smith told Vanity Fair he's never even met Jared Leto.

"We worked together for six months and we've never exchanged a word outside of 'Action!' and 'Cut!'" Smith said, "He was always in Joker mode."

Alas, a lighter more lovable and less scary Leto is on the way... we hope. In fact, he thinks it would be "wonderful."

Upon being asked if he would do a romantic comedy, the actor immediately answered, "Wouldn't that be nice? We could shoot in Hawaii," adding, "I can just be my normal non-waxed self," in reference to his extreme makeovers he underwent for Suicide Squad and Dallas Buyers Club.
