The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Oakland Athletics agreed to a multi-player deal on Monday, before the trade deadline.

According to ESPN, the Athletics traded outfielder Josh Reddick and pitcher Rich Hill to the Dodgers. The Dodgers are sending pitching prospects Grant Holmes, Frankie Montas and Jharel Cotton to the Athletics. Reddick thanked the Athletics and their fans in a statement on Twitter.

“I just want to say thank you to the Oakland Athletics organization for the time I spent there,” he said in the statement. “I played in some very memorable and spectacular games. I wouldn’t be where I’m at without Oakland. To my people in the RF bleachers: Never change.”

He also tweeted about going to the Dodgers saying, “Can't wait to start my journey in Dodger blue!!! Let's win a pennant race! .@BMcCarthy32 I need a profile pic.”

Reddick will be a free agent at the end of this season. He was out for six weeks due to a fractured left thumb. He is hitting .296 with eight homeruns and 28 RBI’s this season, according to MLB.com.

Hill will also be a free agent at the end of the season. He is 9-3 with a 2.25 ERA this season and is currently on the 15-day disabled list due to a blister. He will be eligible to return by Saturday.

Holmes is 8-4 with a 4.02 ERA with the Class-A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga this season. Cotton is 8-5 with a 4.90 ERA this season with Triple-A Oklahoma City. Montas hasn’t played this year after having rib resection surgery in February.
