This week marked the 10th anniversary of the release of Step Up, the extremely popular dance movie from 2006. Not only did it give us some awesome dance moves and a killer soundtrack, but it gave us Channing Tatum.
The film told the story of Nora (Jenna Dewan Tatum), a contemporary dancer pairing up with street dancer Tyler (Tatum) for a showcase piece. The two end up falling in love not only in the film but off set as well.
Thanks to hits from Sean Paul, Chris Brown and Ciara's "Get Up" the film became a huge hit, receiving four sequels.
In an interview from the red carpet premiere back then Tatum said he just "prays the movie does well," not having any idea of how much of a success the film would become.
Although it's been 10 years it feels like the film and the world's love for Channing Tatum started just yesterday.
