After two years of marriage and more than a decade together, Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt. The couple has been together since 2005, proving that love is now in fact dead.

According to TMZ, Jolie filed legal documents on Monday citing irreconcilable differences. The actress is also asking for physical custody of the couple's six children, giving Pitt visitation.

It's clear she does not want him to have joint physical custody over their three adopted children and three biological children, only joint legal custody.

Sources told TMZ her decision to file "has to do with the way Brad was parenting the children, she was extremely upset with his methods." Additionally, TMZ was told there was no "third person" involved, her decision was solely over his interaction with their children.

Jolie listed Sept. 15, 2016 as the date of their separation. She is being represented by Laura Wasser.
