Watch out Zac Efron! Looks like Channing Tatum is trying to swipe your celebrity superfan title.
Tatum appeared on the The Ellen Show Tuesday, Sept. 6, where he, like Efron, gushed over five-time Olympic medalist Simone Biles.
DeGeneres spilled to Tatum that Biles was backstage. Tatum then proceeded to tell the Finding Dory star that he has he sights set on meeting her and that he is going to "freak out" when he does.
"She's going to freak out more," DeGeneres told him. But the Magic Mike star had no doubt that he was going to be the bigger fangirl when Biles hit the stage.
As the whole world knows, Biles is a gymnastic powerhouse. So Tatum decided to reveal his theory regarding the four-foot-nine golden girl's athletic expertise.
"She’s so tiny that she has a harder time holding onto the ground than just going up,” he joked, "I think she has really strong toes and that helps her hold on to the ground."
The clip then switches to Biles being interviewed about her new book Courage to Soar and it appears she is just as thrilled to meet Tatum.
DeGeneres finally introduces the two, but of course the introduction is a comical one as the actor took on the role of a gold-medal stand for Biles' multiple Rio honors.
