Mia Farrow is mourning the loss of her son, Thaddeus, who died on Sept. 21. He was 27 years old.
People has confirmed the death and cited a police report which states that Thaddeus was found in his vehicle in Roxbury, Connecticut, Wednesday with a "life threatening injury." He was taken to a nearby hospital but doctors could not save him and he was pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m. that afternoon.
"An autopsy will be performed on Thaddeus Farrow today," a spokesperson for the Connecticut Office of Chief Medical Examiner told Patch on Thursday. "There has been no new or additional information released on this case."
Farrow adopted Thaddeus from India in 1994. Prior to that, he contracted polio while in an orphanage and was paralyzed from the waist down. In 2013, he spoke to Vanity Fair about what it was like being adopted by the famous actress.
"It was scary to be brought to a world of people whose language I did not understand, with different skin colors,” he said. “The fact that everyone loved me was a new experience, overwhelming at first.”
