Hello Power fans! We finally made it to episode eight and with only two more episodes left, it looks like we'll be approaching an ultimate ending. So many things have been uncovered this season, so many relationships have been tested and so many lives have been taken. This season has definitely been the most savage seasons out of the whole series, so there's no doubt that the ending won't be. Episode eight was full of surprises! Let's get into this recap now and explore them!

Tommy is Alive

After almost getting beaten to death, Tommy wakes up in the warehouse. You can see that he is still in pain from the other night as he moves around in the bed slowly. As soon as he opens his eyes he sees Milan standing over him. I guess he's the one who provided the bed.

It's a Setup

Tommy meets one of Lobos's men in an alley and he starts to threaten him until Ghost shows up behind him. He realizes that this was a setup and tries to get out of it.

Ghost wanted to get some information out of him because he knew he was connected to the leak within the FBI department. However, those questions soon came to an end when the man started to talk crap about Holly to Tommy. And we all know that is a double NO-NO. Tommy could not take the man's disrespect against Holly, so he ended up shooting the man to death. This angered Ghost because he wanted to use the man for information, but now he was dead. Ghost ended up taking the man's phone from his pocket instead because he knew he could find the phone call from the FBI leak on it somewhere.

Tommy was with Mommy

Angela visited Tasha and told her that the FBI would be coming by to talk to her. She wanted to Tasha to get her story straight because after all, they were playing for the same team. Angela asked Tasha where Tommy was the day that Lobos was killed. Tasha covered up for Tommy and told her that he was at his mother's house. Angela takes the information, but doesn't seem to believe Tasha's story. She visits Tommy's mother's house to question her about Tommy's whereabouts that day. Tommy's mother covers up for her son as well, but fails to answer Angela's detailed questions about exactly what her and her son did that day. As Angela was questioning his mother, Tommy comes from the back room and enters the conversation. Angela had asked his mother what pizza place she ordered from and she couldn't remember. So Tommy chimed in and said he remembered because he was the one who picked it up. Angela left the house in frustration because she knew they were lying, but she had to take their story. They were all in this together whether she liked them or not. If they went down, so did she.

Tariq Meets a Dangerous Friend

Andre and Tariq are minding their own business and playing basketball together and suddenly trouble comes. Who's trouble? He starts with a K and ends with an N. That's right it's Kanan! He walks up to Andre and asks him who's kid was playing ball by himself. Andre tells him that it is Ghost's son. Why Andre, Why! He walks up to Tariq and asks him who taught him to play basketball. Tariq tells him a friend named Sean taught him how to play, just before he passed away. Kanan lies to Tariq and tells him that Sean was one of his good friends and he missed him too. Lies, lies, lies you killed your own son, you psycho! Andre tells Tariq to get his stuff because it was time for him to go home. As they are leaving Kanan spots the name of Tariq's school on the back of his book bag. This is not going to go well. Not at all.

Primera Meeting

Tommy and Ghost call a huge meeting for all the head drug dealers in the city. Tommy tries to get them all to sell pills along with their other supplies and to start asking for cash up front. Some of them don't agree in the beginning, including the Asian drug dealer. He refuses to comply with this new rule and tries to get up and leave. As soon as he makes a move to leave, one of Milan's men slices him in his neck and he dies instantly. After the horrific introduction, Tommy asked if anybody else disagreed. He had no takers. I mean who'd disagree after that?

LaKiesha Knows

Milan visits LaKiesha's shop to talk to Tasha. He wanted to know if Ghost was planning to kill him. While Milan is questioning Tasha, LaKiesha walks in on the conversation from the backroom. She hears Milan talking about how Tasha was using her shop as a cover up to sell drugs. LaKiesha drops some product on the floor in order to distract Milan and Tasha from their conversation. After Milan leaves she confronts Tasha about using her shop too sell drugs. Tasha tries to explain, but LaKiesha gets frustrated and tells her to leave the shop.

After that, Tasha calls Tommy and tells him that Ghost is plotting something against Milan.

Powerful Persuasion

Milan tries to persuade Tommy into thinking that Ghost can't be trusted. He tells him that he knows that Ghost is plotting against him. Milan also tells Tommy that he has potential and he could be free of all his problems if he helped him. He ordered Tommy to kill LaKiesha because he knew she was now a liability. Tommy told him that he would take care of it. Meanwhile, Ghost was doing his share of persuading too. He tried to get Ruiz to testify against Milan. Ghost told him that if he testified against Milan he would be the head of his crew again and back in the game for good. This planned seemed to have Ruiz intrigued.

Kanan and Tariq

Kanan picks Tariq up from school. When Tariq gets in the car Kanan offers him something to drink. It seems to be the juice that Kanan has been addicted to ever since we found him at his cousins his in the beginning of the season. Which means he gave Tariq some cough medicine and Sprite aka lean. No one in their right mine would give a teenager that to drink, unless you're a psycho. Kanan takes Tariq around the block where his father grew up. He tells him that his father was once a drug dealer and that they used to be friends.

Operation Save LaKiesha

Tasha gives LaKiesha a $500, 000 bag. She tells LaKiesha to sell the bag and get out of town, so that she won't get in trouble. LaKiesha refuses to take the bag and continues to stay in the shop. Suddenly Tommy walks into the shop while LaKiesha is there all alone. Please Tommy don't do this!

Kanan Has A New Plan

Kanan takes Tariq to his grandmother's house. He is not aware that is her house because he has never been their before. However, Kanan has because he recently broke into her house and murdered her. Tariq sits on the couch to watch TV, but gets a text from his mom and Andre. They both question his whereabouts and Kanan tells him to text them that he'll be home in an hour. While Tarik is talking to Kanan with his back turned, Kanan aims his gun at Tariq's head but when Tariq tells him how much he hates his dad, Kanan takes the gun out of the air. Tariq tells Kanan that he hated his dad for turning his back on his family. Kanan sits down next to Tariq and says that Ghost turned his back on him too. Then he asked Tariq if he wanted to get his father back for what he did. Tariq said yes, but he didn't know how. Kanan tells him that he knows a way.

I'm just going to pause this scene for a bit, just to say that I called this! I had a feeling that Kanan was going to use Ghost's son to get back at him. Since he felt that Ghost took his son away from him. This isn't going to be good! Ghost needs to find out about this ASAP!

What is Tommy Up To?

Ghost stops by the warehouse to spy on Milan. He sees an old man coming to drop something off at the back door. He sees Milan let the man in, when suddenly Tommy's car pulls up. Tommy gets out the vehicle and starts to make his way to the back entrance as well. Ghost is shocked to see that Tommy is working with Milan behind his back, so he calls him. When Tommy gets the call he ignores it, but little did he know that Ghost was watching.

Once an Ex, Always an Ex

Angela goes over Greg Knox's house to persuade him into thinking that she was on his side. She went to him and told him that he was right the whole time about Ghost. Knox leaned in and kissed Angela and then they end up having sex.

During the sex scene we see that Angela is still not over Ghost, when she stares at a picture of him on the wall while making love to Knox.

The next morning and Angela wakes up in Knox's apartment. As she gets up to take a shower, Knox grabs his phone. He sends one of his co-workers a text message that says he thinks that Angela and Ghost are working together and he knew a way to get both of them. Sorry Ang, you thought you were slick, but Knox pulled one over your head. You should know better. Once an ex, always an ex.
