Hello Power fans, it's nice to see you again after that two-week hiatus Starz gave us. I know it was heartbreaking not to see our favorite characters last week, but boy did they have a show for us this week! Before we get into that let's refresh our memories on what happened at the end of the last episode. We know that Ghost and Angela split. To her it was for real, but we know Ghost just did it for his family's sake. I guess you could say that Angela needed a rebound guy because she hopped right into her ex's arms. Who also happens to be her colleague and arch enemy, Greg Knox. These two hook up, but we find out that Angela did it just to clear her and Ghost's name. She knew that Greg was trying to get something on her and Ghost to place them both behind bars. Angela thought that dating him would persuade him into thinking that she was innocent, but little did she know he was using her too. Greg knew Angela was hiding something about Ghost and dating her again was part of his plan. Now that we've got that episode covered, let's get into episode nine!

Knox is Up To Something

Greg Knox and his investigation partner give Mrs. Egan (a.k.a. Tommy's mom) a visit. They wanted to to question her one more time about Tommy's whereabouts on the day that Lobos died. She stuck with the same old pizza story that she told Angela, but Knox had something else on his mind. While his partner was questioning Mrs. Egan, Greg searched her house for clues when she wasn't looking. Umm excuse me sir that's against the law, you need a warrant! As he was on his way out the door he found Angela's business card in the trash can. That told him that Angela was there, so he knew something was up with Mrs. Egan's pizza story.

Naughty Knox

Greg comes back home to Angela in his apartment again. She was waiting for him to get home because you know, there like a thing now. He told her about his run-in with Mrs. Egan and how she stuck to the same pizza story for Tommy's whereabouts during the Lobos death. Greg told her that the search against Tommy and James St. Patrick (Ghost) was through and that they'd have to start looking into some more suspects. Angela seemed to be leaping for joy inside because she knew that meant she and Ghost were off the hook. Slow your horses Angela, I wouldn't trust Mr. Knox if I were you.

Once Angela went to sleep for the night Greg snuck into her purse and found the phone that Ghost gave her. Why is this phone so important? Remember when Tommy killed one of Lobos's men alongside of Ghost in the last episode? Well after he was killed Ghost reached in the man's pocket and found a phone. He took it with him because he knew it would be the key in finding the leak in Angela's FBI unit. When Knox found the phone he takes the battery out and takes a picture of it with his phone. He does this quickly because he hears Angela waking up in the other room. By the time Angela comes in to see what he's up to he has already finished his transaction. Greg needed the number on the back of the battery to find out where the phone was bought.

Choose Me

Tommy tells Ghost that Milan knew that he followed him into the warehouse the other night. He tells Ghost to stop planning an attack against him because Milan knows and he said that he would kill Tommy if he continued. Ghost still insist on going on with his plan, but then Tommy tells him that he needed to choose him this time. He said that he chose Ghost over Holly, so it was time for him to choose him over his own agenda.

Ghost agreed to step back and told him he'd stop with his plan against Milan. Tommy left with an unconvincing look on his face, with hopes that Ghost would listen to him this time. Think again Tommy, you know how Ghost is. Nothing will get in the way of what he wants. As soon as Tommy left he texted Ruiz that his plan was still in motion.

Knox has a Plan

Greg meets with Ruiz again and this time he has a plan. He knew that Ruiz was going to another drug deal meeting with Milan and a few others. He told Ruiz to wear a recording device that looked like a button to the meeting. That way he would be able to hear anything said that would help him solve the Lobos case. Knox also asked Ruiz if James St. Patrick would be there, but he wouldn't release that information. Little did Knox know that Ruiz was secretly working with Ghost to take Milan down, so releasing information on him was a no, no. Seems like everybody in this show has their own agenda, doesn't it?

Good Boy Gone Bad

Kanan picks up Tariq to hang with him again, but this time they visit a sneaker store. While they're in the store Kanan tells Tariq that the only way to get someone to respect you is to steal something. The fact that Tariq went along with this has me a little concerned because that doesn't even sound logical. When Tariq hears this he automatically understands that Kanan is urging him to steal a pair of sneakers out of the store. So he asks one of the employees for a couple of sneaks to try on. While they go in the back he dials the store number. When the employee comes back he tries the new pair of sneaks on and then puts his old pair in the new box. Come on Tariq you're better than this. After that he calls the store number to distract them while he walks out with a stolen pair on his feet.

Someone's got to pay attention to this kid before he does something completely reckless.

The Meeting

Ruiz finally makes it to the meeting with the recording device safely planted on him. Tommy frisks him to see if he's hiding any weapons, but he doesn't find anything threatening on him. So they continue on with the meeting. To be continued....

The Moment that I've Been Waiting For

Ghost comes home after visiting his son's school for career day. He had to get up in front of Tariq's class and explain what he did for a living. During his presentation he said some very touching things about his family and what they meant to him. When he got home Tasha asked him if he really meant the things he said up there. He told her he meant every word. Hearing this made Tasha feel some type of way and she leaned in to kiss him. Without rejection James gave into the kiss and started to make out with Tasha some more.

Before they knew it they were back in bed with each other like the happily married couple they once were. This scene had me psyched  because he was actually making love to his wife instead of his mistress. Yes I'm #TeamTasha. Sadly this moment didn't last for long because James decided to spill the beans about his attack against Milan to Tasha. He told her he was working with Ruiz to take him down, but Tasha didn't think it was a good idea. She was worried this plan would go terribly wrong and leave her family at risk. She tells Ghost that if them having sex didn't mean they were back together then he had to go. As soon as he left Tasha called Tommy and told him that Ghost was planning to take down Milan and that he had to stop him. Tommy told her not to worry because he had a plan.

Back to the Meeting

The meeting is coming to a close and Tommy is now informed about the whole Ruiz and Ghost thing. Once Milan handles everything with Ruiz he ends the meeting and everybody starts to part ways. Tommy offers to take Ruiz home and he agrees to let him do so. Poor Ruiz. You were better off walking home. While Tommy is in the car with Ruiz he starts talking about how Ghost uses people to get what he wants. Ruiz avoids the conversation because he had the recording device on him and he knew this could get back to the FBI, but that didn't stop Tommy. He kept going on and on about how Ghost is a user and he doesn't care about anybody but himself. Suddenly Tommy stops the car to check if something was going wrong with it. Ruiz sits in the car for a while until Tommy calls him to check out the interior. As soon as he walks up to the car Tommy stabs him in his chest. Ruiz murmurs the words, "You're going to regret this."

Then Tommy tells him that Ghost was the reason for his death, not him and he continues to stab him until he dies. Andre helps Tommy carry Ruiz's body to his car to make it look like someone murder him while he was driving. Andre asks Tommy if Ghost knew about this and Tommy told him he wouldn't if he kept his mouth shut.

I Call the Shots

Tommy comes to visit Ghost at his club. He tells him that he murdered Ruiz and he knew about their plan to take down Milan. Ghost looks at Tommy in shock because he can't believe his plan is foiled. Tommy didn't understand why Ghost insisted on not telling him about the plan to take down Ruiz. Ghost told him that he didn't want Tommy to have to deal with all of it and he really wanted to be out of the drug dealing game. Ghost told Tommy that he will do whatever it takes to get out of the game for good. He didn't care what he had to do, he did not want this life anymore and he was willing to do anything to live a normal life. When Tommy hears this he sort of sympathizes with Ghost and offers him a plan. He said if they were going to take down Milan, Ghost was no longer the mastermind. Tommy wanted to be the one who called the shots.

End Scene.
