50 Cent's recent dig about the show Empire has some of the Lyons roaring back.

Taraji P. Henson, who plays Cookie Lyon and Jussie Smollett, who plays Jamal Lyon, weren't too pleased that the rapper took to Instagram to claim that ratings for their hit show had dropped.

In a now-deleted post, 50 posted a picture of Henson and wrote: "Well look at the bright side at least. You can eat your trophies. I was talking to old girl but you felt like you had to respond. SMH you know I love you cookie. I got a new show for you BMF COMING SOON !!!."

Henson didn't take the post lying down and took to Instagram with her own screengrab about Empire still being the No. 1 scripted show on T.V. and took a little jab at the Power star's stage name.

"Do REAL research!!! Loose change makes sooooooo much UNNECESSARY NOISE. STILL LOOKING FOR THAT DAMN CENT SIGN!!!???? I guess it's obsolete ????."

50 then responded to her post with another that he has since deleted, "All this back and forth s--t is starting to turning me on cookie, LMAO I ran into Lee Daniels at the gym on Sunset Blvd. he asked why I didn't except his offer to be on EMPIRE. I told him I have a lot going on, I'm actually working on the show FOX is gonna replace EMPIRE with, he looked at me like…why the f--k are you doing that? It's because I'm a drug dealer, and I was taught to get in, get your weight up, then take over. So that's the deal."

E! News reported that Smollett also got into the feud with a lengthy post to 50. That was also taken down but not before a screenshot of what he said was shared several times.
