On Oct.5, Kerry Washington gave birth to a baby boy, Caleb Kelechi Asomugha. The birth of baby Caleb wasn’t released until earlier today.
It seems like yesterday that the world was enticed by Kerry’s appearance on the Emmy's Red Carpet. She wore a beautiful black, lace-covered evening gown that she showed off with her baby bump.
At the event, Washington did an interview with ET where she admitted to experiencing a bit of anxiety about expanding her family of three. "I'm an only child so every time the family grows it uh... it brings up a little bit of anxiety," Washington explained. "But it’s fantastic. I'm really happy."
The Scandal actress also openly spoke out about her expectations with her second unborn child on the Ellen Degeneres Show. When asked about the gender and potential names for her new bundle of joy Washington responded, “ We’re hoping to have a human.”
Caleb joins his big sister Isabelle, who Washington gave birth to in April 2014.
"We're all really excited," Washington added.
