Liza Weil reveals how she adapted to filming the Gilmore Girls revival.

American actress Liza Weil was nervous about filming the revival of Gilmore Girls. Weil's nerves originated from the close proximity of filming How To Get Away with Murder and Gilmore Girls in the same year.

She recently opened up about the specifics of her worries. When she jumped on board, she didn't think it'd be such a difficult thing to balance out the personalities of her two on-screen characters.

The star revealed to E! News, "I was definitely worried because I had wrapped season two of Murder and I think, like, the next day or two days later, I was on set on Gilmore Girls." Bouncing back and forth made the star apprehensive because, since the shows are so different, she didn't want one to steep into the other.

Weil also revealed to E! News that her saving grace while filming the revival were the shows creators, Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband, executive producer Dan Palladino.

Weil shared how their creation of Paris set her at ease. "Paris is so alive in that writing and it's just very, very different from Bonnie. It was actually a very welcome sort of respite from Bonnie. It felt nice to be a little bit more broad and all of those Paris Geller-y things. And then I had a good cushion of time before going back to Bonnie, but I will say, yeah, it's Amy and Dan and it's [Murder creator] Pete [Nowalk] and you read those scripts and it's all on the page. It certainly made it easier."

While the star may have been a little hesitant about tackling her roles on both sets, she seems to be having a better time of it.
