Chrissy Teigen isn't afraid to voice her opinions via Twitter and the model even goes back and forth with fellow users who come at her, but now she has had enough and made her account private.
ET noted that the 30-year-old revealed Tuesday, Oct. 4, that she did lock her account after a fan asked if it was private.
“Yeah,” she replied. “Not strong enough anymore.”
Teigen also clarified that she did not lock her account because of the haters saying stuff to her, but because of the overall negativity she sees on the site everyday.
“It’s not haters or trolls or generally mean people,” she wrote. “I just feel like I’m absorbing bad s**t 24/7. My body and mind cannot handle it anymore."
As we reported, Teigen got into a Twitter debate last month with other users over whether or not the word “oriental” is offensive. And, most recently, John Legend's wife defended her friend Kim Kardashian after many in the Twittersphere said they had no sympathy for the reality star who was allegedly robbed in Paris.
