Criminal Minds took the team back to the Appalachian Trail where it appeared a homeless man was responsible for multiple murders. His home where he was staying was discovered by an officer, who noticed a bag of body parts. Due to the nature of the crime, the team came to search in hopes of finding whether there are more missing victims.
The case was confusing for the team, at first, since they were under the impression they had their unsub. However, there was more to the case than they first realized and soon have a connection to look for in the homeless man’s life.
Meanwhile, Reid is excited for the possibility of having his mother be part of a research test group to help minimize the effects of Alzheimer’s. However, when his mother begins to experience trouble, he is determined to figure out how to help her.
At this time, Hotch’s absence has been explained away as him being on temporary duty. We don’t know for sure yet what will become of his character, but hopefully we can have some sort of closure for Hotchner. Next week’s case is coming soon but for now, see the top ten moments from “Keeper.”
