The Flash returned last night and we got to see the aftermath of Barry changing the timeline by saving his mother from Reverse Flash. He got to live in an alternate universe where he saved his parents and grew up with them. However, he does not have a relationship with the Wests and Wally is The Flash in this universe. Barry enjoys his life, but as Reverse Flash tells him, his actions will have consequences.
When Barry begins to lose the memory of his world, he has to face a choice of keeping his powers or continuing to live in this universe. After a battle with The Rival leaves a team member in jeopardy, he makes a decision. At first, it appears things are fine. However, as he will begin to find out, even a small change can occur if you mess with time.
