Robert De Niro spoke up against Jon Voight after the actor criticized his comments regarding Donald Trump.
In a video outtake from a voting PSA celebrities, including De Niro, worked on, the actor was heard criticizing the Presidential nominee. He reportedly said, “He talks about how he’d like to punch people in the face? Well, I’d like to punch him in the face.”
Voight responded on Twitter saying he was “so ashamed” of the rant De Niro made.
During an appearance in Dubai, De Niro said again he would still like to punch Trump “in the face.”
When asked about Voight’s comments, De Niro said that he liked the actor “but he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”
