NCIS: New Orleans opened with the team investigating the death of three men at a poker game. The fourth participant, a former Navy Intelligence Analyst named Elvis Bertrand, is the only survivor. Because he disappeared from the crime scene and one of the victims worked for the DoD at one time, the FBI gets involved.
This marks the return of FBI Agent Tammy Gregario, who is still part of the investigation into the team. None of them are pleased since they feel the FBI is just looking for a scapegoat. Then once the case is over, a deal is made which will mark her place in New Orleans for an undetermined amount of time.
