Reality Star Kim Kardashian cancels her gala appearance.
Kim Kardashian West has canceled her New York celebrity gala appearance so she could fly to Los Angeles to be with husband, Kanye West. The rapper was hospitalized Nov. 21 due to a medical emergency.
According to Page Six, Kardashian West was set to make her first appearance at the gala, which was being held in honor of her later father, Robert Kardashian. The event, which was to be held in New York at The Angel Ball, was hosted by Denise Rich. Kardashian was going to attend the gala with her mother, Kris Jenner and sisters, Khloe and Kourtney.
This was going to be Kardashian's first public appearance since the robbery in Paris.
A source reportedly said, “Kim was seen boarding a private jet to New York at around 5 a.m. LA time and had planned to make a late entrance to the gala, skipping the red carpet, to honor her father. But when she landed in New York, something was very wrong with Kanye, she turned around and headed straight back to LA to be at his side."
It is unclear what the exact medical emergency is but, West is in the hospital for his "health and safety." His hospitalization came after his onstage meltdown. His "exhaustion" led to the cancellation of his Saint Pablo Tour.
As previously reported, the dates of the tour's cancellation led into the month of December.
The rest of the Kardashian clan still attended the gala to honor their late father, who died of cancer in 2003.
