Alicia Silverstone bares more than her voice a PETA ad.

Actress and mother, Alicia Silverstone, 40, strips down in a PETA ad stating, she would "rather go naked than wear wool" on a New York City billboard.

The mother is advocating for people to say that they "are never going to buy wool again" through the use of exposing the techniques used in order to obtain the wool from sheep.

The Clueless actress describes conversations she has had with people, saying that they are misinformed about the process. Silverstone states, "wool in general, has not been thought about...it's not something that has been brought to [the people's] attention."

Silverstone explains that sheep become objects to the people taking their wool. "... It's on the slaughterhouse floor where there's a conveyor belt and it's just so fast, the shearing process, that they get cut, they get harmed, and they're seriously wounded and there's no care for them when they're wounded."

According to E!, Alicia Silverstone has joined the ranks of other celebrities such as Eva Mendes, Khloe Kardashian, Pink and Olivia Munn who have already participated in their own PETA ads.

Silverstone has supported PETA since the '90's.
