Things between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have gotten ugly as it appears that the two are now ready for a major battle in court over the custody of their six children.
Back in September when Jolie filed for divorce she requested sole custody of the children. A temporary agreement granting her physical custody and allowing Pitt supervised visits with the kids was put in place, but that expired on Oct. 20. As TMZ noted this past Friday, Nov. 4, Pitt filed documentation asking that he receive joint custody of the children. Sources close to Jolie, however, said that is not what the actress wants and she is prepared to fight him over this issue in court.
The insiders also claimed that what the Salt star is in favor of is another agreement like the previous one only permitting monitored visits for Pitt.
Several media outlets have reported that Jolie will not come to the bargaining table unless her ex gets his issues worked out which she alleges include substance abuse and anger problems.
The former couple are parents to Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
