The new teaser trailer for Cars 3 has been released and it is pretty dark.
In the new trailer, cars are seen on the race track and everything is going well. However, just as Lightning McQueen is doing well, as always, something goes wrong. After the screen goes black, broken pieces of metal are seen flying through the air along with the body of the famous red car.
After this scene, the words “From this moment, everything will change” appears on the screen.
Due to be released June 16, 2017, the film follows the original 2006 Cars film and its sequel. Owen Wilson will voice the character once again.
Director John Lasseter spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the film. He said it was an “emotional story” and will go into detail of McQueen’s memory of Doc Hudson. Doc was the great car who was voiced by Paul Newman in the original film.
