Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have fired their head security guard, Pascal Duvier, one month after the reality star was allegedly robbed in Paris.

Duvier is the same bodyguard who Kardashian praised after he stopped prankster, Vitalii Sediuk, from getting his hands on her in September. He was also with her during Paris Fashion Week when the alleged robbery took place but was at a club working for her sisters at the time the gunmen were said to have entered the apartment.

The 43-year-old security guard first began working for West in 2012 and then with Kardashian in 2013. A insider said that the decision to let Durvier go wasn't an easy one for the couple and it was "not personal" but rather an "overhaul" of their security detail.

"Pascal, along with a couple other security members of their team, were recently let go by Kim and Kanye," a source told ET. "It's a pretty tough situation overall and they love Pascal, but they couldn't take any more chances."

As we reported, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was allegedly held up at gunpoint last month and the thieves got away with millions of dollars in jewels. So far, none of those jewels have been recovered and no suspects have been arrested.
