Actress Shelley Duvall, 67, who is best known for her roles in The Shining and Popeye, revealed to Dr. Phil that she is struggling with a mental illness during an episode which will air on Friday, Nov. 18.

The once very coveted actress confessed that since she has stepped out of the spotlight she has been battling an illness in which she believes her life is being threatened by a fictional character in Robin Hood.

According a clip from Dr. Phil, Duvall believes her late co-star Robin Williams has become a "shape-shifter" and that she has a "disc implant" inside of her body in which she shows her leg to indicate the placement of this implant. Duvall believes that Williams isn't "really dead." The former actress also shared that "the man who is threatening [her] is the Sheriff of Nottingham."

She admitted to McGraw that she "is very sick" and needs "help."
