Bruce Springsteen was rescued by the Freehold American Legion when he became stranded in New Jersey.

The bikers came to the musician's aid when he got stranded with his won bike near Allaire State Park in Wall Township, New Jersey, on Friday, Nov 11. A group from the Freehold America Legion, was riding down the roadway after a Veterans Day event, when they noticed a man was stranded and went over "to see if he needed help." Turns out, it was The Boss!

The singer/songwriter grew up in Freehold, New Jersey and is well known for his work with E Street Band. According to NBC New York, one of the bikers attempted to get his bike running and when it couldn't be done, the performer hopped on the back of Ryan Bailey's bike.

Springsteen was dropped off at a local bar and waited about 45 minutes for his ride. During this time, the bikers found out that the rocker is a pretty "down to earth guy." The group talked about "motorcycles and his old Freehold days."
