Its official!!! Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman revealed that she is dating former Oakland Raiders tight end Colton Underwood.
As we previously reported, Underwood sent Raisman a video congratulating her on her success at the Rio Olympics and asked her out on a date, which she accepted. Underwood drove 90 minutes back and forth to meet her for their second and third dates. Raisman has met Underwood’s family.
The couple had been keeping their relationship quiet, but they walked the red carpet at the 2016 Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year ceremony in New York City Monday night. Raisman told People that she and Underwood have been dating since the VMA’s in August.
"We happened to both be in Denver at the same time,” Raisman said. “I was there for less than 12 hours, he was flying in for just a few days. It just ended up working perfectly.”
The Olympian said that she’s looking forward to next year and thinks the year is going to be an exciting year for everyone.
Raisman won one gold and two silver medals at the Rio Olympics. Underwood is currently a free agent.
