2016 has been one of those years where it is difficult to look back and not remember all of the amazing celebrities we lost. As soon as January hit, we dealt with devastating losses that still don’t feel real.
It is a testament to the lasting impact these celebrities have had on us that when we lost them, it didn’t feel real. The one consolation we could have was we still had an incredible body of work to continue to hear and see. Their music, acting and legacy lives on even if they are no longer here with us.
As we draw the year to a close, we wanted to take a look back at those we lost and reflect on their memories. From the surprising cancer news after the death of David Bowie to The Voice’s Christina Grimmie’s shocking murder, there was no shortage of tragedy this year.
While we could not possibly list everyone we lost this year, we will remember them just as much as the ten celebrities on this list. Join us as we remember those we lost in 2016.
