Back in the '90s, I'm sure I'm not the only one that had the theme song to Baywatch memorized. The soap opera-esque series had many tuning in each week to watch David Hasselhoff throw his rescue can over his shoulder and bound down the beach to save a tanned blond beauty from drowning. Baywatch became quite popular during its 11 years on TV and it is no surprise that an updated rendition will make its way to big screen this spring. The difference? Hasselhoff is replaced by none other than Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The teaser trailer was released this week and it definitely has us eager for the movie's release. The familiar character, Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) is the serious lifeguard heading up what he calls the "elite of the elite" team. Co-starring alongside Johnson is Zac Efron who plays Matt Brody. When funding for the lifeguard team gets cut, they bring Brody on as a PR stunt to rebrand the team. Variety calls the rendition a 21 Jump Street-style film.

Now that I've got you  humming the theme song, take a look at the trailer and then wait in anxious anticipation for it to hit theaters on May 26.
