Jennifer Lopez's ex-boyfriend, Casper Smart, totaled his luxury car in a nasty accident on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
TMZ noted that Smart wrecked his Mercedes Benz when he slammed into a guardrail and a tree in Woodland Hills, California. While few details about the crash were released, the media outlet reported that authorities said no other cars were involved in the crash and that alcohol did not appear to be a factor.
Smart took to Instagram with a photo of his vehicle, which had damage on the back driver's side, and let everyone know he was not injured.
"Rough night for me. Smashed into a tree. I'm safe and ok thank God. But my beautiful car is totaled. #wasntmyfault," the 29-year-old wrote.
Lopez and Smart dated one another on and off for five years. They ended things last summer.
