An obsessed fan who has allegedly been stalking Jodie Foster and her family will now have to stay 100 yards away from the actress as a restraining order has been granted by a judge in California.
TMZ reported that Celine Martelleur, who showed up on Foster's property in Beverly Hills and tried to contact her via email, has been ordered to stay far away from the star, her wife, Alexandra Hedison and two teenage sons, Charles and Kit.
Hedison filed for the restraining after Martelleur went to Foster's home earlier this month and when Hedison asked through the intercom who was at the gate Martelleur replied, "Celine. You should know who it is."
This is not the first time that The Silence of the Lambs actress has had to deal with an obsessed fan. John W. Hinckley Jr. stalked Foster in 1981 and in an attempt to get her attention shot President Ronald Reagan several times. He detailed his obsession with the Taxi Driver starlet in a letter written to her on the day of the attempted assassination. Hedison named Hinckley Jr. in the most recent court papers to document Foster's history with alleged stalkers.
