Man launches GoFundMe page for Betty White

After losing a number of celebrities in 2016, including Carrie Fisher, a man has launched a GoFundMe page to protect Betty White.

Demitrios Hrysikos, from SpartanburgSouth Carolina, set up the GoFundMe page on Tuesday so that we don’t lose White before 2016 ends. Hrysikos’ goal is to raise $2,000. If White doesn’t want the protection then the money that’s raised will be donated to the Spartanburg Little Theatre, according to KETV.

"Help 2016 catch these hands if it goes anywhere near Betty White! If she's okay with it I will fly to where ever Betty White is and keep her safe till Jan. 1, 2017,” Hrysikos wrote on the GoFundMe page.

Fans took to Twitter to make sure that White is ok and that we won’t lose her before the year ends.

So far $220 has been donated to protect White.
