Actor Mark Wahlberg recently surprised his mother by buying her a new car. Can I get a collective aww?
Walhberg returned to his hometown of Boston for a special screening of his latest film, Patriots Day and, being the family man that he is, spent time with is mother. Walberg's mom, Alma, let Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier in on her "big secret," telling him that when she looked out her door that morning, there was a new car with a big red bow on it.
"He bought me a brand new Hyundai Azera," gushed Alma, "my favorite car in the world!"
Turns out, Walhberg knew it was her favorite car and had told her "no" when she previously asked for one. He wanted it to be a surprise, he tells Frazier.
Patriots Day will be released on a limited basis on Dec. 21 and will go wide on Jan. 13.
